10 August … A new workshop … Facilitator Skills for Teachers. At International House London, link below.
In this workshop I will be sharing the Facilitation model that I use in all my talks and workshops, based on Six Category Intervention Analysis, designed by John Heron with whom I trained. I have since then developed this for teachers, trainers and managers. The course is experiential and practical, with hands on practice of the interventions and intentions within each of the six categories, which covers everything you need. You will practice the skills in three roles, as facilitator, as client, and as observer/feedbacker. And it is a lot of fun! In my view these essential skills are missing from teacher training programmes. Teaching skills are not the same as facilitation skills. We need both.
Please tell colleagues about these workshops, and come along yourself, maybe for the second time!
